The 1st Annual Green St Derby!
Put on your best Derby outfit and join us at 12 Noon on Saturday, May 2nd for "The Slowest, Drunkest 2? Minutes in Sports!"
The party starts at 12 PM at 5 great North Beach Bars along the 500 Block of Green Street.

Each bar will have 3 specialty Angel’s Envy Bourbon drink options including their own version of a mint julep. Raffle tickets will be for sale at each bar for a chance to win some great gift certificates to local bars and restaurants along with other prizes.
Your ticket is also a random “bet” on one of the horses, giving you additional chances to win. 100% of raffle proceeds go directly to benefit Tel-Hi Neighborhood Center. “The Showing of the ponies” will begin at Belle Cora at 1:30, where local jockeys will walk the track on their hobby horses (yes, hobby horses) and the race begins at 2 PM. After crowning the 2026 Derby Champion our esteemed commentators will decide on best derby outfits with the raffle to follow.
So put on your pinstripes, grab a mint Julep and join the mayhem...
There is no charge to attend, but raffle ticket purchases are greatly appreciated!
